Jennifer O’Brien has been a management consultant to physicians, served as CEO for two large medical practices and held administrative positions in three academic medical centers. O’Brien earned a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a Master’s in the Science or Organization Development from Loyola University – Chicago. She has authored 45 practice management articles in professional publications and peer reviewed journals. The art journal she kept as a form selfcare during her late husband's 22-month illness was published by Et Alia Press as The Hospice Doctor's Widow: A Journal in February 2020. Jennifer O'Brien lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she continues to create art, is an advocate for dialogue about end of life, and still misses her beloved Bob.
